Catherine Johnson Broussard is an African American poet, artist and author living in New Orleans Louisiana. "I have always had a need to write and to create, knowing that my hands are guided by HIS WORDS. As a child, I remember writing on pieces of paper as my soul spoke to me. I knew one day that I will share my words with the world".  My first work of poetry was published in 1982 thereafter, my poems have appeared in several books and publications. I have a master's degree in social work from Southern University at New Orleans, along with both of my daughters. I am the author of "I KNOW HIM" and "HIS WORDS". Both books reveal my unyielding faith and my quest towards inner peace.
